Ensure that your router is up to date with the latest firmware. Manufacturers regularly release updates to resolve any issues and optimize performance. Additionally, check if your router complies with the latest WiFi standards, such as 802.11ac or 802.11ax.
2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequency band?

Most routers are compatible with 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands. The 2.4 GHz band has a greater range, while the 5 GHz frequency offers higher speeds and less interference. Use the 5 GHz band when you are near the router, and the 2.4 GHz band when you are further away.
