All rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan and may eventually need to be serviced, repaired or recycled. How long the battery of your device lasts depends on the use of your device and the selected settings. If you notice that you have to charge your device more and more often, it is time to have the battery checked. For products with a built-in lithium-ion polymer battery, the battery should only be serviced by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. Products you buy in the Netherlands are subject to Dutch consumer law.

It is bad for the environment to just throw a battery in the trash. Apple and McPartners ensure that batteries are recycled or disposed of responsibly. So hand in your device to us for recycling. Or drop off a battery from your AirTag to us. Then we will arrange the rest. This is not only better for the environment, your device may also provide you with a discount when purchasing a new Apple product.
